The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) and the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) have announced their winners in the annual “Freedom of Speech” PSA contest.
Video Production student Brady Keezer of Veazie, ME has been recognized as a 2nd place winner in the Television category with his PSA promoting free speech.
The Freedom of Speech PSA contest was entered by almost 200 students from throughout the United States. Entries are required to be 30 second public service announcements for either radio or television promoting freedom of speech.
This is not the first time the award has gone to a NESCom student. In 2009, Monique Pelletier (2012) of Presque Isle was recognized as a 2nd place award winner in the television category.
