Since its return to the airwaves, The Nite Show has been a staple of the NESCom Mobile Productions team. For 2 upcoming episodes however, the Mobile Productions team will have a much shorter commute as the show will tape two episodes at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28 at the Campus Center at Husson University. This marks only the 2nd time The Nite Show has taken the show on the road. The shows will air on Saturday, Dec. 1, and Saturday, Dec. 8 respectively.
“We have had such a wonderful partnership with the New England School of Communications and its students, we thought it would be fun to bring the show to them,” said Nite Show host Dan Cashman. “Our plan is to book some Husson-themed guests, and do some Husson- themed skits. I’m also hoping to score an honorary doctorate degree while I’m there, but perhaps that’s too lofty of a goal” says host Danny Cashman.
“The Nite Show with Danny Cashman” can be seen Saturday nights at 11:30 on WABI-TV 5 in Bangor, and Saturday nights at 10 on WPXT-TV 51, The CW, in Portland. The show is a New England Regional Emmy® Award nominee and Fusion:Bangor FLAVA nominee. Just like the classic late-night shows it is modeled after, The Nite Show is taped in front of a live studio audience at the Next Generation Theatre in Brewer and is produced by students and faculty from the New England School of Communications in Bangor.
