On October 25th, the SALT Carnival will roll onto the campus of Husson University to offer students free games and prizes while also promoting financial literacy and budgeting.
SALT, a program of American Student Assistance will bring the carnival to campus as part of an area-exclusive event in the Campus Center in Peabody Hall. “The Carnival of #20SOMETHING PROBLEMS” features carnival games where students earn points that can be redeemed for prizes and swag when they are done.
“It’s so exciting to have such a lively organization like the SALT Carnival come on campus”, says Elizabeth Tilton, Assistant Director of Financial Aid at the New England School of Communications. “There’s fun and games but there’s always an underlying message of fiscal planning and responsibility”.
SALT is free for students to sign up and offers tools, blogs and humor to students balancing life, college and finances. Sign up at http://www.saltmoney.org/
