The Maine Public Relations Council, the state’s professional association of public relations practitioners, announced the winner of its 2014 Scholarship.
Husson University sophomore and marketing communications major, Hunter Clark, was chosen for his academic record and accomplishments, recommendations and a personal essay. A native of Skowhegan, Hunter is enrolled in Husson’s New England School of Communication and serves a Resident Assistant.
The annual scholarship is awarded to a college freshman, sophomore or junior attending an accredited Maine college or university majoring in public relations, broadcasting, journalism, marketing, advertising or any a communications field.
In addition to completing the application, the submission requires two faculty references, two faculty letters of recommendations and an essay of no more than 500 words.
