Leading loudspeaker manufacturer Meyer Sound will spend 4 days this month working with students from NESCom’s Live Sound Technology and Audio Engineering departments.
February 23rd through the 26th, Meyer Sound’s Mauricio “Magu” Ramierez and Buford Jones will work with students on 2 detailed workshops. Mauricio “Magu” Ramierez will lead a course called “Line Array Design and Application” withparticipants learning how to utilize line arrays as part of the design and implementation of complex sound reinforcement systems in a performance environment. Then, legendary live sound engineer Buford Jones returns to NESCom to teach “the Mixing Workshop”, brining his world-class experiences with Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd. Stevie Wonder and more to the classroom.
These workshops will take place in the Gracie Theatre at Husson University.
